AHHHHHHHH! It smells like a new beginning in here!!
Like I said before—I love springtime. Everything is fresh. Everything is coming alive. The world is blooming again after being dry and dormant.
We like to complain about the rain, but let’s be real—it’s the rain that breathes life into dry places. Without it, nothing would grow. In fact, the first thing a seed looks for once it’s planted is water—because water is its life source.
And guess what? So is the rain in our lives.
We have to stop cursing the storms and start embracing them—because it’s the rain that pushes us to grow. It’s the storms that make us stronger. It’s the uncomfortable moments that shape us into the beautiful creation God had in mind when He made us.
We’ve got to stop being so desperate to arrive and start appreciating the journey. There’s beauty in the becoming. There’s purpose in the process. The very lessons we pick up along the way are the tools that build us into the woman we’re called to be.
And don’t fear the “dead” seasons either. Every season has a purpose. All things really do work together for our good!
Just because something looks lifeless on the surface doesn’t mean transformation isn’t happening underneath. The breakthrough comes because of the dry place. The growth happens because of the quiet. The resurrection follows the death.
Take the butterfly for example: in order to be transformed, it has to let go of its old identity. It has to go into a dark, hidden cocoon and surrender to the process. It dies to what it was—so it can become something completely new.
In Christ, it’s the same.
To truly live, we must first die—to our old self, our old patterns, our old ways of thinking.
Only then can we grab hold of the new thing God is doing.
And that’s where I am—right here, right now.
I’m embracing this new beginning. I’m walking into this new season boldly.
To everything there is a time and a season—and this is mine.
I declare this new month will bring forth everything it was purposed to in Jesus’ name.
Old things have passed away.
All things have become new.
I’m leaving the past where it belongs—and stepping forward into this brand NEW day.
Here’s to new beginnings. Let it bloom.
Cheers to the season of becoming!🥂✨🌱
